Do you know you are a spy like me?

Yes, you. You have many secret identities.

You are a daughter, a mother, a writer, a cook, an entrepreneur, a French-Canadian, a sister, a friend, a traveler, a Salas dancer, a blogger, a lover, a lapsed Baptist, a gold-fish water changer, a compulsive reader, a twitter addict, a cake worshiper, a secret devotee of Sinead O’Connor.

Hello Spy. Welcome. This is your initiation. Your tracking chip has been activated.

In the chaos of all the different versions of you that exist, there is one version that takes up the most amount of time. There is one identity to which you are particularly attached, you feel the most akin to. That YOU makes 98% of the decisions and for 98% of the time, you live only that one singular identity.

In a society that is monotheistic to the extreme, complexity and multifaceted-ness is often frowned upon. It is time to revive the Renaissance Man / Women. It is time to applaud our inner complexity and understand that true beauty comes from the combination of the full spectrum.

You are all of these different secret identities, that you know of now, and many more that you are about to become.

Don’t get stuck on the one, but explore them all. Everything feeds back into everything else. Your excellence as a goldfish water changer will make you a better blogger.
