In town all week with meetings and the group show opening.
Went to this restaurant florent in meat packing today. Its just this neat little diner that is being forced to close because the rent has sky rocketed. It will soon be clean and hip like the rest of meat packing. A shame.
Where are us who refuse to be hip and fit in supposed to go?
There was this placard inside the diner listing the major life events of the owner. Can a life really be summed up as such?
What if instead of a life summed up by major events its notated by major emotional highlights?
January 1979 first cry from first spanking. Very upset.
March 1984 tried to run away from home. Was extremely upset.
June 1989 freakd out as I murders my pet hamster unintentionally.
Would that be more interesting? Or does it mean nothing without context for it?
