Here we go, day 6 into the 45 day journey across 4 countries for Wok the Dog and I am logging my first hour of proper ground transportation. I am on the train going from Casablanca to Fez. This is a 4.5 hours train ride and on Wednesday I will be doing 8hrs from Fez to Marrakesh.
I discovered last night that Eid ali-Adha is on Nov 17 of this year. I am excited to see and observe this holiday here in Morocco as it is rare when I am in a country during major festivals and or holidays. But this also means that I need to get the bulk of photographing of markets done by then as everything shuts down for a week for Eid. This means that I will be traveling at a rather quick pace for the next 10 days until Eid.
For those of you may have missed the details, I am running a fun little contest on how many hours I will log on bus / trains over the next 45 days in 4 countries (Spain, Morocco, Cairo and India).
