Enroute to Rabat, Morocco
Due to poor planning on my part, I now need to go to the Indian Embassy and see about getting a visa. If that is not successful, I will be needing new destination other than India.
In the mean time, the celebration and preparation for Eid is well under way. The country is over flowing with sheep and everywhere you turn, there are sheep. Hopping on the first bus to Rabat means a proper Moroccan bus, not CTM or Supertour that is recommended by LP. They open the luggage compartment under the bus, lord and behold, its full of SHEEP!!!
At one roadside stop, a man and his sheep awaits. There is a negotiation, someone gets out a marker and marks the sheep, the sheep get put into the luggage compartment, the bus moves on and the man walks away! Wait! The man just put send the sheep on a bus ride. He is not even going with.
I imagine the following conversation:
Man: the sheep is on its way. He has an X marked on his left ear and is a fat and healthy sheep. Good for Eid.
Another man: what time will the sheep arrive?
Man: oh about 3pm if God willing.
